Universal Default Credit Card Issuers

Universal default credit cards are credit cards that have universal default clauses in the terms and conditions. If your credit card has a universal default clause, it means that they have the right to raise your apr to the default apr as long as you missed an interest payment to another creditor. Yes, you may have paid your bills for credit card A on time, but if you missed your payment on credit card B or an auto loan payment, credit card A will raise your apr to the default apr. Not all credit cards have universal default clause. Below is a list of universal default credit card issuers. This is not an exhaustive list and we will add on to the list as we do research on more credit cards.
