Cash Rebate Formula - The American Express Business Cash Rebate Credit Card lets you earn 5% rebate on purchases with OPEN Saving merchants, which include AT&T;, Fedex and Staple. You can earn 2.5% rebate on other purchases. You earn rebates at these rates as long as your expenditure on the credit card is $15,000 or less. Once your spending exceeds $15,000, you will earn rebates at a rate of 2% for OPEN Savings purchases and 1% for other purchases. You can earn unlimited rebates and rebates are credited once a year every February to your statement. This rebate formula is essentially identical to the Blue Cash for Business credit card.
Fees and APR - There is no annual fee or additional card fee. There is a 0% APR on purchases for 6 months and a fixed 7.99% APR on balance transfer for the life of the transfer if it is transferred within 6 months. The apr ranges from prime rate plus 2.99%, 4.99%, 6.99% or 9.99%. The average daily balance method is used to calculate monthly balances and the grace period is 25 days.
